For the sake of “listening to the other side”, Lawrence Solomon published “The Deniers”, a book listing “The World Renowned Scientists Who Stood Up Against Global Warming Hysteria, Political Persecution, and Fraud**And...

Dr. David Bromwich – president of the International Commission on Polar Meteorology – says ”it’s hard to see a global-warming signal from the mainland of Antarctica right now.”
You have gotta be kidding me! Melting Glaciers a stone’s drop away, does that ring a bell!?
I thought we had a consensus on the whole global warming but as it turns out some scientists still disagree. fair enough but I would say to them don’t sound smug at least don a grab of skepticism.

I would fully agree with you. I was just as surprised as you to see that even polar scientists would disagree with ”global warming” while we get nothing but alarming signals of large parts of the Arctic and Antarctic melting away...
My point is this: how come scientists can not agree? We, the general public, don’t have access to the data, and figures can prove anything... It seems like global warning becomes like a religion: you either believe in it or not.. Not so?

It’s sweltering here in Bangalore and i haven’t seen a hotter summer here till now and this is in April, still early days for the Indian summer. AFAIK, this is a direct repercussion of Global Warming that we ourselves are responsible for, with us, directly or indirectly causing a lot of environmental pollution. Damn all the scientists who think otherwise.

At least there’s a tag to call it by now. Some scientific handle. Otherwise, we would still be calling it the apocalypse.
I am appalled that while there is a definite cause for alarm (I don’t think it’s hysteria), people still choose to debate over it. The proof that something BAAAAD is really going on is everywhere. Some may call it the unfortunate reversal of earth’s fortune, the height of karma, the reckoning and retribution of abusive man, or something else.
I look at the pictures and a deep, gnawing, murmuring sense of quiet panic overcomes me.
Do those scientists know how it feels to be in a flah flood where 3 feet of water fills up the streets in 3 minutes?
Go out, go out, go out.
Leave your libraries, laboratories, classrooms, and laptops. Just go out.
